This exhibition explores how information and advertisements displayed on internet services—such as Google Maps—are architecturally constructed through algorithms. It positions algorithmically generated information as “passive information” and contrasts it with “active information” gathered through the embodied practice of walking randomly through the city.
By juxtaposing these two modes of encountering information, the exhibition offers new perspectives on the relationship between technology and urban space, and on how we perceive and experience information within contemporary cities.

本展示は、Google Mapsなどのインターネットサービスを題材に、そのサービス利用時に表示される情報や広告がどのようにアルゴリズムによって構築されるかを建築的に可視化する試みである。
アルゴリズムに基づいて表示される情報を「受動的な情報」と位置づけ、それに対比する形で、ランダムに都市を歩く実践を通じて得られる「能動的な情報」を探求する。
現代社会におけるテクノロジーと都市の関係性、そして都市空間での情報の認識や体験の仕方に対して、新たな視点を提示する。
